Before the critical session I had not felt that our group has been communicating as much as we should have been. We have all been working on separate parts of the project without having a proper plan. We knew the essence of what we wanted to do but had no storyboard.
This was properly brought to light by our tutor voicing his concerns that he couldn't quite see what we were planning. We're admittedly as not as far along with production as we'd like to be. We don't have a group storyboard yet.
On the positive side, we got good responses to our concept and the energetic way we want to show the power of street art. People liked our idea of animating onto various locations around the world to convey unity and the idea that street art is the art of the PEOPLE and whatnot.
Our backgrounds are coming along well. Our plan is to each draw a series of backgrounds in varying styles from around the world to make the animation look eclectic.
