New Burgery Brief

My group chose to address the BURGER KING brief for D&AD. The brief implied that we could be tongue in cheek and not too "vanilla". This allows for plenty of madcap animated fun in our advert.

In looking to cater to 18-24 year olds we will format the videos to be shown on Instagram (they'll be square). We considered these factors.



 At first I struggled to get in the mindset of making a video for Instagram, but I've decided it'll be fun to make an animated solution in a format I'm not accustomed to.

We'll make a series of short zany scenarios in which someone is cooking a burger and "FIRE IS BETTER".

An astronaut cooking their burger by putting it into the sun

A stuntman cooking a burger in a ring of fire


And a caveman cooking a burger using fire.

I'm currently storyboarding, making efforts to add more depth and detail than in my previous storyboards. I'm enjoying considering cinematography and timing and look forward to producing some nice animatics.
